One of the things I love most about being a shameless beauty addict is discovering the kind of products I can’t stop talking about. Whether they were just launched this year or have been other peoples’ cult favorites for decades (but newly discovered by me), when it comes to finding quality beauty products age is of no consequence.
Below you will find my most recommended products this past year that have also found themselves in the coveted position of being in my permanent beauty regimen rotation:
Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter ($7.49): I’m yet to find a lipstick more hydrating that drops as much pigment as these do. I love that they come in both sheer and opaque shades which makes them fun to mix and layer. You can’t imagine how many women have thanked me for introducing these happy little hydrators to their makeup bags.
Fresh Black Tea Instant Perfecting Mask ($88): I’m pretty sure fairies gather together beneath a rainbow to create this magical mask. The first time you dip your fingers in it (it feels like velvety non-sticky icing) you want to slather the whole jar all over your face. The results are even more rewarding — super hydrating, redness reducing, leaving skin looking softer with less visible pores.
Decleor ‘Aroma Night’ Neroli Essential Night Balm ($73): I can’t believe I just wrote up this balm last week since I’ve been using it and recommending it for years. If you don’t mind the balm consistency on your face then I highly recommend it for literally any skin condition. You’re lulled to sleep with its intoxicating herbal scent and wake up to softened, balanced skin.
Clé de Peau Beauté Concealer ($70): A longtime favorite of celebrities and makeup artists alike, this concealer does not disappoint. While its price tag is high, one tube should last you for at least a year. It’s creamy and hydrating yet full of pigment. I personally like to layer it over a liquid concealer like Amazing Cosmetics Concealer for long-lasting coverage that won’t crease or budge.
COOLA Tinted Matte SPF 30 ($36.00): I was over the moon earlier this year when I discovered the original version of this gentle mineral SPF that mattifies and acts as a primer. When I found out they came out with a tinted version for light coverage and to even out skin tone I was literally speechless (which doesn’t happen very often, trust me). Screw the overhyped BB Creams — use your regular moisturizer followed by the tinted COOLA and you’ll be good as a golden tan.
Happy New Year’s my lovelies! Make sure you drink and sparkle responsibly tonight and don’t forget your lipstick!
